MND reports 9-month pro forma revenues of EUR 47.1 million   (2014/02/12 3:00 PM)

The MND Group (FR0011584549, MND), which specialises in innovative mountain development and urban transport solutions, is listed in the C compartment of NYSE Euronext's regulated market in Paris.

MND posted pro forma revenues of €47.1 million* for the nine-month period from 1 April to 31 December 2013. Third quarter pro forma revenues amounted to €24.7 million. IFRS consolidated 9-month revenues, which incorporate the revenues of businesses acquired since the beginning of the financial year as of their date of consolidation, amounted to €37.1 million.

As a reminder, MND reported consolidated revenues of €29.7 million for the 2012/2013 financial year (IFRS audited historical data).

The Safety & Leisure division, which includes ski resort protection, remote preventive avalanche-release systems, rockfall netting and avalanche barriers, as well as turnkey solutions for high-adrenalin leisure complexes, is growing steadily and accounted for around 42% of pro forma revenues for the period.

The Snowmaking & Ski Lift division accounted for 58% of pro forma revenues. This division includes the Snownet business acquired last October, which contributed revenues of €11.8 million. The company's traditional snowmaking business is progressing satisfactorily and the ski lift business continues to perform well.

A great deal of work has been done to maximise the benefits of the Snownet acquisition. The initial results for Snownet confirm the reputation and quality of its products. MND recently carried out an extensive streamlining operation in order to unify the Group's three product lines under a single brand name. The Group is also exploiting potential synergies by centralising procurement, R&D and production across the whole of the Group's Snowmaking division.

*No comparison with the previous year is provided in this release, as the Group did not report its financial position as at 31 December 2012.

Next release: FY 2013/2014 revenues, 15 May 2014 (after market close)
